CATHY ROWLEY began the studio 17 years ago. The first classes were held in her garage. The studio has grown from its humble beginnings to the mega performing arts center it is today. Cathy has performed and toured throughout the Southwest and Hawaiian Islands. She danced at Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland on her winter and summer breaks from college. She has modeled and done commercials for Catalina Swimwear, Pledge, and Carpets to Go, along with choreographing for Jungle Rags Children’s Clothing. Cathy has taught for Christian Youth Theatre and has been involved with the city of Temecula dance program for over 10 years. Cathy feels privileged to have a successful studio in an area where parents sincerely care about their children.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HEATHER DALE graduated with honors from UCSD with a BA in Dance in the spring of 2004 after transferring from Palomar College in San Marcos and was pleased to perform for numerous choreographers on both campuses. She has since been teaching, dancing, and choreographing all over southern California. Heather has been fortunate enough to train with some of the most talented artists in the area including Patricia Rincon, Jean Isaacs, Tony Caligagan, Faith Jensen-Ismay, Katie McIver, Kevin Herman, Sue Gilson, Judy Sharp, and Molly Faulkner among many others. She teaches regularly at Temecula Valley Cathy’s Dance and Dance FX , Inc. in San Marcos where she has created many award-winning dances and has also set work for various high school teams and productions throughout Southern California. Heather has enjoys dancing regularly in industrial shows for Heatwave Productions under the direction of Tony Caligagan and also working with Joey Doucette Entertainment out of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has also performed as a guest artist for Patricia Rincon Dance Collective and Mojalet Dance Collective as well as teaching at the Southwest Dance, Movement, and Acro-Sports Workshop in Palm Springs this year for the fifth time in a row. Heather was honored to spend the summer of 2005 in Konstanz, Germany teaching and taking class at the Czerner Dance Academy and has been encouraged to return along with members of her new dance ensemble Opus Mixtus Post Jazz to present working a collaborative show. Heather performed in San Diego Dance Theater’s 2006 “Trolley Dances” under the direction of Jean Isaacs and famed New York choreographer Monica Bill- Barnes. As her performance opportunities and learning experiences continue to multiply, Heather is glad to be able to share her knowledge with her hard working dancers at TVCD!!!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

QUINCY JACINTO, born in Manila, Philippines, began his training at the age of 8 under the tutelage of his father, noted teacher and choreographer Eli Jacinto, with the Theatrical Ensemble and Artistic Movement. On Quincy, the elder Jacinto choreographed roles that gained acclaim from the local dance audience, including Puga (Struggle) and the lead fisherman in Philippine Ballet Theatre's Magdaragat (Seafarer). He was then accepted to the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida, under a dance and academic scholarship in 1992. From 1990, he would dance as a guest artist with the Philippine Ballet Theatre, always performing principal roles, and was engaged as principal in 1999. He toured nationally and internationally with the company performing leading roles, such as “Romeo” in Romeo and Juliet, “Basilio” in Don Quixote, “Pinkerton” in Madame Butterfly and “Hilarion” in Giselle. In November 2000, Quincy joined Ballet Pacifica. He portrayed an inspired Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, with characterization and performance much raved about by critics. Quincy was a runner up to the 2003 Best Male Dancer Award, presented by the Beverly Hills Outlook, A Biweekly Review of the Arts and Culture in Southern California. He is now the Performance Technique Department Head at Focus Dance Center looking over all Ballet Technique. Quincy is thrilled to join the staff of TVCD this upcoming season.
 

 

 

 

ANJELICA WILSON "JELI" has been dancing since the age of 3 and been competing since 6. She began her career under the director of her mother Jocelyn K. Wilson at the Oceanside Dance Academy. After High School, Jeli moved to Orange County to be a part of Orange Coast College’s nationally ranked #1 Dance team. In 2002 she was awarded the "3rd Best Dancer" in North America by Dancer Magazine. She has competed at the Gus Geradano’s Jazz World Congress in Costa Rico and Chicago winning the Silver Leo’s Award both years. Jeli was crowned Miss Philippino-America in 2005 and won the "Most Talented" award in San Diego. Currently Jeli dances with a professional jazz and Hip Hop company: Unity Dance Ensemble. In November the major motion picture "Hypocricy" will be released into theater’s where Jeli is a principle dancer and featured character.
 

 

JAMAL CUMBERBATCH has toured Japan and has been a featured dancer with Looney Tunes Dance Group, where he was invited to a dance workshop in Washington D.C. along with the best dancers coast to coast. Jamal has choreographed for many local dance competitions and high school dance productions. He is featured in the movie "Stomp the Yard". He is happy to be the newly appointed Hip Hop Director for TVCD
 

 

RACHEL SWINSON received her training at Inland Dance Academy and trained for the summer at the San Francisco Ballet School. She has danced in the Nutcracker, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty Paquita, The Glory of Easter and The Glory of Christmas. Rachel trained at ABT summer 2006. Rachel has been teaching at TVCD since 2003, and is happy to be returning for her fourth year. As the newly appointed Ballet Director, she is excited to enhance the ballet program and she will be setting even higher standards of training for her staff and students.
 

 

 

 

NATALIA MORALES-BYLES is a graduate from Cal State Fullerton with a B.A in dance and a Masters in Education with an emphasis in dance from CSUN. Natalia is well versed in Teaching, Choreographing and performing. Natalia has performed in various shows such as MTV 2003 Movie Awards, The Super Bowl, and the Lakers Fiesta Party just to name a few. She has choreographed for many rising rap artists here in the U.S. and pop artist from Europe. Natalia teaches Ballet, Jazz, Turns & Leaps, Hip-Hop and Pilates, as well as strength and conditioning for dancers. She has taught at many professional studios such as The Athletic Garage in Pasadena, Millennium in North Hollywood and most recently was the first instructor in California to teach a transferrable course in Hip-Hop at the College level. Natalia is also the founder and Co-Artistic Director of Mystique Entertainment.
 

 

 

LAUREN EASLEY has been dancing since the age of three. Trained in classical ballet, Lauren has been accepted to top national ballet summer programs including The San Francisco Ballet School, School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Rock School of Pennsylvania, and many others. Growing up in Highland, CA, Lauren attended the Inland Dance Academy where she danced in many productions including the Nutcracker and Coppelia; many of them as soloists and principle roles. Lauren is currently a full-time student at the University of Redlands where she is pursuing a government degree.

 
JULIE BARKER has been dancing for 22 years, including ballet and pointe training with Ballet Pacifica. She has participated in workshops with New York City Dance Alliance, LA Dance Force and the Jazz World Congress. Julie went to Palomar College for 4 years and participated in the dance program. During her last year there Julie was awarded "Dancer of the Year" for 2003. Julie has also got the chance to perform as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker in 2003. Julie has been teaching at TVCD for 9 years, and enjoys working with the kids. Besides teaching, Julie dances for Opus Mixtus Dance Ensemble, and enjoys working for Heather Dale.
 

 

KELLEY-ROSE ROWLEY has been dancing for Seventeen years. She has been teaching at Cathy’s Dance for the past five years. Kelley has performed as a dancer in the "Calico Country Jubilee" at Knott’s Berry Farm, and has won numerous platinum awards in her competitive history. Her choreography has been applauded with many high score and top overall awards. Kelley currently performs with Opus Mixtus Post Jazz and Mystique Entertainment. She also choreographed Christian Youth Theatre's Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs this year.
 

 

BROOKE MORRIS-HOPKINS has been teaching tap & jazz all over San Diego County and Temecula for 10 Years. Brooke has been involved with musical theater since the age of 8, and has acted in over 20 live theater productions, and enjoys being on the stage. She has competed in tap since the age of 9 and has won several National Championships, both as a soloist and as a duet with her favorite dance partner Richard Jennings, who is currently living in Europe.
 

 

KRISSY ERRINGTON started dancing her senior year of high school. She was on varsity cheer for three years but discovered that dancing was what she really wanted to do. She danced with a Company called Infinite Dynamix and later joined Urban Fx. Urban Fx gave her a huge opportunity to grow as a person and as a dancer, after dancing with Urban Fx she wanted to explore different styles of hip hop and now is apart of a very blessed company called SuperGalacticBeatManipulators. She gives all credit to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for without him she would have nothing.
 

 

AMY JOY CHOATE has been involved in musical endeavors since a very young age. Along with appearing as a guest artist at the world renowned Crystal Cathedral she has also won and been awarded many honors in musical competitions throughout southern california. She has been the director for high school competition pieces, the student conductor for MVHS's choir program, recently music directed CYT's production of "Snow White", and has been teaching voice and piano throughout the valley for five years.
 

 

CARISSA WALTER is an experienced tumbling and gymnastics coach. She has previously worked with Temecula Valley Stars Cheer. Her students have won numerous awards and have been shown the love of tumbling. Carissa loves working with the little ones and is excited to be a part of the upcoming season at TVCD.
 

 

.LARISSA RICE has been teaching dance locally for 5 years and has performed throughout Riverside County. She has studied dance at Idyllwild School of Performing Arts, Ballet Petite in Pasadena, and was a member of the Belmont University dance team in Nashville, Tennessee. Her television appearances include: The Price Is Right and K & B Infomercials. She holds a Bachelors of Art degree with an emphasis in Child Development. She is the mother of three young children all of whom love to dance!

  

 

 

 

HEATHER PAGE has been dancing for ten years and is a fourth-year instructor here at Cathy’s Dance. In her ten years of dancing, she has danced and performed on many school and studio teams including star teams here at TVCD. At the age of 11 she became highly involved with school dance programs where she began her dance training, and found a love and passion for dance. In high school Heather was a performer and main choreographer for EHS Dance Production as well as an assistant for the beginning level classes, which lead her to receive a varsity letter in dance with the highest amount of points in her class during her junior year of high school. She has advanced training from various studios in jazz, lyrical and ballet. In addition, Heather has been one of two assistant directors for the X-O Thermix Dance Team for five years and has been teaching at local schools for seven years where she has choreographed many regional, state and national championship winning routines.
 

 

MEGHAN PATTERSON has been performing on and off the stage for 15 years. She grew up in Murrieta and has performed from Temecula to Fallbrook to Vista to San Diego. She currently is also teaching voice for Temecula Performing Arts Company. Meghan loves working at Cathy’s watching all her students grow and build the confidence it takes to get on stage!
